How can I resist?

I have been sick this last week. No fun at all. It is just your average run of the mill cold, but I feel like I've been attacked by the green snot monster. For work we have an important exhibition show coming up in a few days that it is very important I take part in; and not be sick for. So yesterday I left work early intending to go home and get some sleep, let my body heal itself.

Unbeknown to me, my two nephews were at my mom's house as it was Martin Luther King day, and they didn't have school or daycare. So I went down to my bedroom to lay down and sleep when in they came. They were determined to entertain me. They brought toys into my bedroom for me, played charades and had me guess what they were, they crawled under my covers and made a tent for me,,, well, one of them did, the other one was the "monster" who attacked us from outside. And they were both just so cute, giving me hugs and kisses, wanting to be close. They are so cute and darling, I just couldn't help myself.

So needless to say, I didn't get the rest I planned on getting. But what I got was so much better!

Survived!

Well I just finished with my first Sunday as the Sunbeam Teacher! For anyone who doesn't know what the means, at the church I attend, I was asked to teach the class of four-year-olds. And let me tell you, these children are absolutely adorable!!! and I absolutely love them. But after two hours, I was so glad class was up. I was exhausted!
All in all, I'm really glad I get the opportunity to do this. The kids are so much fun and just so stinkin' cute, I almost can't stand it! This week we sang a song, practised being little puppy's and kitty's, and colored. (At which point the two activities were combined and they started carrying around the crayons in thier mouths like a puppy carries a bone. Ah well, close enough right? :)
I can't wait until next week!
